A new NHS-funded survey has launched which will provide invaluable insight into how the cost-of-living is impacting disabled people and carers in Sussex.

Independent Lives has been commissioned by Health Education England to explore how health inequalities due to the cost-of-living have had an effect.

The survey, which should take up to ten minutes to complete, asks participants to rate and detail the impact that the cost-of-living has had on their lives. This includes whether they have had to go without things or make substitutes, and if it has impacted their physical or mental health.

Participants can put themselves forward to take part in a recorded interview to share their experiences in return for a £25 voucher.

Those who complete the survey can also share photo or video content to demonstrate the impact the cost-of-living has had on them. Content selected to be included in the research findings will see participants awarded a £5 voucher.

The survey will run through until Friday 8 December.
