Sexual Health Week 2025

As part of National Sexual Health Week, we are highlighting the importance of treating our sexual health as seriously as we would any other aspect of our health, including regular checkups, testing for H.I.V. and sexually transmitted infections.
Let’s talk Sexual Health Week 2025

Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are two of the most common Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and can often be tested for easily and accurately with a simple test, with results available in a few days.

These tests are important because both infections can be symptomless, but if left untreated, can lead to serious long-term health problems.

Chlamydia

1 in 12 young people end up testing positive for chlamydia. The thing is, most people don’t even realise they have it because there aren’t usually any noticeable symptoms.

The test is quick and easy to do. You can order a free and discreet test to be delivered to your home

Gonorrhoea

People at highest risk of infection with gonorrhoea will now be better protected from the disease, as the NHS and local authorities begin the rollout of a world-first vaccination programme in England.

Sexual health clinics offer a free vaccine to patients at highest risk of the sexually transmitted infection (STI), including gay and bisexual men who have a recent history of multiple sexual partners and a bacterial STI in the previous 12 months.
