No Barriers Here

People living with HIV are less likely to access end of life and palliative care for many reasons including fear of discrimination.
Group of people chatting

This can lead to members of our community missing out on the opportunity to discuss their future wishes, including how they would want to be cared for, what’s important to them and who they would like involved.

What is no barriers here?

No Barriers Here is an approach that uses co-production (working together) to listen to the voices of previously unheard communities through telling stories and sharing experiences. This will help us to understand barriers experienced and explore new ways we can improve care. Their aims are to improve both equity in access and quality of care for people living with HIV, especially supporting those requiring palliative and end of life care.
