Community Transport Sussex

Community Transport Sussex (CTS) is one of the main community transport providers in West Sussex.

They work to relieve social isolation and loneliness across the county through the provision of safe, accessible, affordable and supported, door to door transport for those who have difficulty accessing the mainstream transport network.

What they do

Dial-A-Ride
Dial-A-Ride service is designed to help people gain access to transport to get to where they need to be.

Volunteer Car Scheme
This service started in Mid Sussex, and has expanded into Crawley and Horsham, with an ambition to develop a county wide service.

Group Hire
Hire out our minibuses to not for profit organisations, community groups, schools, sports clubs, parish councils and friends’ associations to take their members out for the day, get them to the club and home again or any other need you may have for a minibus.

Community Hire & SEN School Transport
Proud to work closely with West Sussex County Council to help children with disabilities and learning difficulties get to and from schools in our local areas.

Electric Vehicle Community Car Club
Aiming to promote the use of zero emission vehicle across Sussex. The first EV Car Club has launched in Henfield and hope this will be the first of many.

Travel Buddies
The Travel Buddy Service matches an isolated or vulnerable person with a Travel Buddy Volunteer with similar interests. The aim is to give that little extra hand, to those who find it difficult to get out and about.
