Right at Home Worthing & Shoreham District Dementia Interpreter and CPR sessions
Every day, we see the challenges families face when a loved one develops dementia, the confusion, the worry, and sometimes the feeling that they’re facing it alone.
Dementia Interpreter Classes
To help, we’re offering free Dementia Interpreter Classes for local community groups.
These sessions are interactive and approachable, helping people:
- Understand what life can feel like for someone living with dementia
- Learn simple ways to communicate and support them
- Build empathy, confidence, and a stronger, more supportive community
CPR training sessions
In February 2026, during British Heart Month, we’re also offering free CPR training sessions.
These hands-on sessions give people the skills and confidence to save a life in an emergency, something every member of our community could potentially need one day.
We’re offering both sessions because we believe:
- Families shouldn’t feel alone when caring for someone with dementia
- Everyone deserves the knowledge to act in a life-threatening emergency
- Strong, informed communities can make a real difference to people’s lives
We can come to your group or host you at our office - whichever works best.
If you think your members would benefit, I’d love to arrange a session or chat through the details contact me - meghann.butcher@rightathome.co.uk
Together, we can make Worthing & Shoreham safer, kinder, and more understanding for everyone.
