National Work Life Week 2025
Under the theme Flex for All, the 2025 campaign will spotlight the millions of people for whom flexible working isn’t just a ‘nice to have’, it’s essential.
From Dads to unpaid carers, adoptive parents, Kinship carers and those supporting older family members, we’re calling on employers to make flexibility the default for all who have caring responsibilities in the workplace.
Despite the positive steps towards flexible and family-friendly working becoming the norm, many of the 13 million working parents and 3 million unpaid working carers in the UK don’t have the flexibility they need to manage the endless juggle between work and caring for the people they love. Many of these people are on the lowest income and many, mainly women, sacrifice careers to get the flexibility they need.
Working Families
Working Families is a charity on a mission to remove the barriers that people with caring responsibilities face in the workplace. They provide free legal advice to parents and carers on their rights at work.
Give employers the tools they need to support their employees while creating a flexible, high-performing workforce. And they advocate on behalf of the UK’s working parents and carers, influencing policy through campaigns informed by ground-breaking research.
