Challenges carers face

Healthwatch in Sussex wants to better understand the challenges carers face when accessing health and wellbeing services for their own health, and what support could improve their experience.

Are you a carer?

A carer is anyone, including children and adults who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support.

Our poll

Please tell Healthwatch in Sussex the challenges you face as a carer when accessing health and wellbeing services for your own health.

Ahead of carers week in June, we have designed a short poll to ask carers (only) to share experiences and perceptions from the last 12 months.

Complete our poll

Poll closes: Midnight on Friday 30 May 2025.
