New look NHS App: What is changing

Following feedback from patients and staff the NHS have made changes to the NHS App to make it simpler and easier to use.

Somethings have moved, but you can still do everything you could do before.

What is changing?

A new home page where you'll find services and all your health information placed together in categories. There is no longer a GP health record section, but all the previously included information such as appointment notes and test results, now appears within the core health categories on the homepage.

A new “App help” button at the top of each screen will take users directly to support information.

In your "Profile" users will be able to view and manage their personal details and health choices. This is also where you can manage health services for family members or people you care for (sometimes called proxy access).
