The NHS Sussex Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) service is closing
From 29th September 2023, patients will not be able to order repeat prescriptions using the NHS Sussex POD telephone service. Responsibility for repeat prescriptions is being taken over by individual GP practices.
Patients who use the POD telephone service are being contacted directly with details of how they can continue to receive their repeat prescriptions via their GP practice.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:
- On the NHS app or by logging into your NHS account at www.nhs.uk
- Online via your GP practice website if they have an online service
- By phone, post, or in person at your GP practice
