Frances Russell, Healthwatch West Sussex Chair, is talking on air on BBC Radio Sussex at 7.05am tomorrow (Thursday 29) in response to media headlines over local NHS rationing of services (which ran in West Sussex County Times).

Frances will be speaking about the need for greater openness and transparency with the public, something we have been pushing for. The first the public should hear about service changes should not be in the media headlines. Health leaders need to recognise the value of having early conversations with local people and the importance of helping people to understand the situation and to be part of the solution.

If you are bumping into these type of problems contact us as we can offer information and advice and challenge local providers.
