Macmillan Cancer Support survey

We have teamed up to work collaboratively to gain insights from individuals who've faced a cancer diagnosis, and we're extending a warm welcome to carers, family members, and other significant individuals to share their journeys too.
Holding hands caring way

Healthwatch West SussexNHS Sussex, and 1Macmillan Cancer Support want to ensure your voice is heard.

We’re keen to learn about your experiences with your GP practice post-cancer diagnosis and if you have had a Cancer Care Review.  Did you get the chance to express your thoughts, preferences, and discuss what truly matters to you?

Our survey aims to discover the resources related to cancer diagnosis that you found helpful and those that you did not. These could encompass mental and physical health, 2pre-habilitation (getting ready for cancer treatment), 3rehabilitation (program that helps people with cancer maintain and restore physical and emotional well-being), work, finances, and caregiver support. We're also interested in any potential barriers you've encountered in accessing these resources.

Your answers are important to help us shape your local community provision and services to better support you and your family.  By responding to the following questions, which should only take about 15 minutes, depending on how much information you'd like to share you will be making a huge contribution to this project.  Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you.

The survey closes on Wednesday 31 January 2024.
