    Midhurst Foodbank Centre opened in September 2014 and provides crisis support. We went along to listen to the stories and views that were shared by the local people about their health and social care services.

    Healthwatch West Sussex has had the opportunity to see how the Selsey Care Shop and its supporting groups provide a fantastic example of a community sharing local resources, volunteers and expertise to support its residents.

    The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK’s leading charity supporting people affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA) – a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure. We spoke with a support group to hear their stories and experiences.

    In West Sussex, the MS Society are working with Healthwatch West Sussex to find out more about the experiences of people affected by MS and represent their voices to help influence improvements in Health and Social Care in our County.

    Turning Tides offes many services are in Worthing but these also stretch out to include Horsham, Littlehampton and Mid Sussex. We captured the health and social care experiences and views from those who attend the groups.

    The Indian Heritage Cultural Society - Crawley, is a grass-roots community group. With the help of a Healthwatch Community Fund grant, the Society put on a Bollywood style Event on Saturday 23rd February 2019.

    Parkinson’s UK is a charity that drives better care, treatments and quality of life, as they do not want anyone to face Parkinson’s alone. A local group spoke to Healthwatch about their health and social care experiences.

    The Phoenix Stroke Club meets in Horsham, to offer socialising and support to people who have suffered a stroke or are living with another neurological disorder. We spoke to members about their health and social care experiences.

    Southwater Community Church in the village of Southwater aims to celebrate life, serve the community and change lives. Last Autumn (2018) they ran their free to attend Happiness Course, we went along to listen to the members.

    CREATE have Built local links within the parishes of Bognor Regis. They use a detached vehicle to visit local parishes to engage the young people of the community in games and activities on green areas.
